“Jardines de Mandor” is a natural habitat where you can observe the most diverse native flora and fauna, such as birds, plants, flowers, butterflies, among others. You can also enjoy the landscape and make deep meditations in connection and union with nature.
Jardines de Mandor is located at the foot of the Huayna Picchu Mountain just 3.5 kilometers from Machu Picchu Pueblo.
To visit Mandor completely and discover its waterfalls and amazing places, you need to have 3 hours approximately.
We recommend wearing hiking shoes, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, cap, comfortable clothes and waterproof jacket, just in case the weather requires it.
Access to the Mandor forest is simple and can be done on foot. From Machu Picchu Pueblo take the road to the municipal campsite (approximately 30 minutes) then turn right to continue along the railroad tracks and parallel roads to the Mandor whereabouts at 114.5 km.
